Keskisuomalainen Osakunta was founded on 3rd June 1931. Before that, students from Central Finland had joined the Hämäläis-Osakunta, but as they already formed their own community within a community, they felt the time was right for a new student nation.
The number of members has varied during the years, but typically it has been approximately two hundred with around 20 officers and secretaries. We may be small but we are firm believers of the quality over quantity -mindset.
